what we do
Pro-Choice Resources (PCR) is a unique grassroots organization that provides a range of reproductive health services. PCR works every day to reduce barriers to reproductive health access. PCR is the only organization of its kind in the country to offer education, advocacy, financial assistance, and outreach under one roof.

Birds and Bees Project. PCR's multi-faceted education and outreach program, the Birds and Bees Project educates youth and other at-risk groups in the Twin-Cities about contraceptives, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy and reproductive options, including parenting, adoption and abortion.
Hersey Abortion Assistance Fund. The Fund runs a hotline (Toll Free: 1-888-439-0124) that provides no-interest loans, grants, and resources to teens and women who choose abortion but are unable to afford one. If you need help paying for your abortion, click here for more information.
Abortion Provider Expansion Project. APEP is a joint program with NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota Foundation, that works with medical students, doctors, and the medical community to increase the number of physicians who provide abortion services.

Community Outreach. PCR provides information to the greater community about reproductive health, with an emphasis on outreach to historically underserved populations.

Emerge: Sharing Our Voices, Supporting Our Choices. Emerge is an after-abortion group for women who have experienced abortion and want a supportive place to share and discuss their experiences.
